Film Screening: “6:45” with Director Craig Singer

The Horror Church movie club is in the House on Sunday, October 23, when we join Jeff Lundenberger of Asbury Park’s Showroom Cinemas in welcoming producer-director Craig Singer for a matinee screening of his 2021 festival fright-film “6:45.” The Disney exec turned indie filmmaker returns to the Stephen Crane House (508 Fourth Avenue in AP) to discuss the making of his latest feature, a “timeloop of terror” scenario filmed at numerous familiar locations around Asbury Park and Ocean Grove (and featuring a supporting cast that includes rapper Remy Ma and boxing champ Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini), in an exclusive area showing that’s just in time for the season of shivers on the Shore. Seating is limited for the 3:00 pm program, with a $10 donation accepted at the door to help fund the Asbury Park Arts Council’s “APin3 Film Challenge” and their support for locally based independent filmmaking.
