DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”2589″ img_size=”full” css=””][vc_column_text css=””]For a couple of decades beginning in 2001\, Christmas at Asbury Park’s Stephen Crane House (508 4th Avenue) has centered around our “Season’s Readings” program. That tradition ended along with the arrival of the pandemic. \nSo\, this year we would like to present the 20th edition of “Season’s Readings”: a compendium of mostly light-hearted stories\, poems\, songs\, etc. related to the Christmas Season. Barring a snowstorm or pesky nor’easter\, we’ve scheduled our literary celebration for Sunday\, December 21\, the 1st day of winter\, at 2 PM. \nFor those who wish to remain after the literary portion of the afternoon\, a screening of our favorite seasonal film: “Jim Henson’s Emmett Otter’s Jug-band Christmas” will follow. \nCoffee\, soft drinks\, cookies and other surprises will be served. \nAPHS Members may attend gratis.
