To the Editor:
It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of Judith H. Stanley Coleman. Mrs. Coleman was a tireless advocate for open space and historical preservation in the Monmouth County she loved.
Never forgetting her Asbury Park upbringing, Mrs. Coleman and the Monmouth Conservation Foundation held several fundraising events in cooperation with the Asbury Park Historical Society to benefit historic Library Square Park, which greatly assisted us in bring it back to life.
It would be hard to imagine what our county would look like today if not for her extraordinary vision and dedication.
Farewell and thank you Judith H. Stanley Coleman.
